PM pleads all sides to solve country’s problems

BANGKOK, 30 September 2009 (NNT) – Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva pleads all sides to rush solving problems after Moody’s, a financial research and analyis institution, maintained a negative ranking for economic stability on the country due to the political turmoil.

Prime Minister Abhisit reiterated that all sides must not make politics a problem for the country’s economy. He asserted that the government had been trying to move the country forward and called for all sides to share the government’s determination. He also indicated that it had been demanded by several parties to give the government a chance to solve economic problems.

In regards to Puea Thai’s request to have the government reset the economic ministers, he said the core thing that needed to be changed was the ongoing political rally, not the economic team.
