PM: govt in control of current political situation
BANGKOK, 6 March 2010 (NNT) – Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva assures foreigners in Thailand that the government is in control of the current political situation.
After the red-shirted protesters announced that they would gather people from across the country to protest against the Abhisit government in Bangkok, the Prime Minister said these people had the right to express their opinion.
Mr Abhisit statef that the government is in control of the situation. He addrf that the government would work together with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in conducting weapons checks.
He said the government will be extra cautious about the situation this week as there are rumors of third party and violent attacks in the capital.
