Commerce Minister concerned UDD´s rally will affect 3 trade fair in April
BANGKOK, 19 March 2010 (NNT) – The Commerce Ministry remains concerned that prolonged UDD’s rally may affect three great trade exhibitions in April.
Three international trade fairs to be organized in Bangkok in April are Bangkok International Fashion Fair & Bangkok International Leather Fair 2010 (BIFF & BIL) during 1-4 April, Bangkok International Gift Fair and Bangkok International Houseware Fair 2010 (BIG & BIH) during 20-25 April, while Thailand Auto Parts & Accessories April 2010 (TAPA) is scheduled from 28 April to 2 May. The Thai Trade Center worldwide has already submitted to the ministry lists of trade representatives and foreign customers who will attend the events.
Ms Portiva Nakasai, the Commerce Minister, has recently instructed the Thai Trade Centers in each country to clarify the situation in Thailand to strengthen customers’ confidence about safety. The Department of Export Promotion has also prepared measures to deal with any emergencies to support all participants of the fairs.
