Commerce Ministry urges producers to avoid price hikes and hoarding of goods
Commerce Minister Pornthiva Nakasai has called for the cooperation of business operators and producers to avoid hoarding goods and implementing price hikes, especially for consumer goods.
After a meeting with department store operators today, Ms Pornthiva had urged producers to produce goods sufficiently to the demands of the market and for producers not to take advantage of consumers amid the current political unrest.
The Commerce Ministry has assured the public that the government will provide assistance, if such complaints are filed by the consumers. The Commerce Minister said that the government is expediting measures to assist business operators and the public affected by the current political situation.
